TEN random things about me

1: I'm so tired of people pronouncing my name wrong. Its D-A-N-A not D-O-N-N-A.

2: I talk a lot but I never talk about things that are really important; like how I feel about something. I always freeze up.

3: I love clothes. Its not even in that I have to have that name brand. I just like feeling like I look like a million dollars when I really only paid probably 3 bucks for the shirt I'm wearing. Dressing up is fun and I have a mountain of color in my wardrobe.

4: I'm probably considered high maintenance even though I only require two things in any type of relationship; honesty and committing to what you say. For instance: if you say you're going to be there; well, be there.

5: I'm not really afraid of anything except for being forgotten and having cancer.

6: I hate the fact that I can't let things go even though I seem so laid back. And yes, I always have to have the last word.

7: I crush on people very easily. But they usually just stay that way and never get anywhere cause it relates to number 2 where I always freeze up when it comes to talking about how I feel. Especially in those situations.

8: I am perfectly content with people making fun of me; its probably true anyway. Its like stereotypes. Plus, I am completely comfortable with laughing at myself. I trip over my own feet and run into things. Sometimes, my son has more coordination than I do.

9: I just want to be adored for who I am and not forgotten.

10: I plan to publish my book one day.

NINE ways to win my heart

1: Telling the truth; even if you think it'll hurt my feelings. Communication is a big key for me and if you're not telling the truth; you're not only lying to me, but to yourself.

2: Music. I listen to everything and actually having knowledge of it yourself is a major plus.

3: Acknowledging me. When you don't call me or let me know you're thinking about me in some way; I get paranoid. I'm not saying I want you to call every hour or every day. Just those random moments in the day with a text or a IM that asks "how I'm doing" or even a stupid joke works.

4: Cooking for me. I love to cook and yes, I will cook for you. But the moment you cook for me... well let's just say I'll be completely won over.

5: An understanding that my son comes first. I only get my son every other week cause of joint-custody. The weeks I have him, yeah you're not going to see me unless you are really okay with me being a parent and you're willing to come over and wait for me to spend time with you while I get my son settled.

6: Willingness. I'm a typical Aquarius. I hate to not be doing anything. So I like new things and if you're not willing to just go with it, we are going to have a very hard time.

7: Disney. Sappy but true. I love the idea of a fairy tale ending and all that "magic".

8: Embracing your and my inner nerd. I don't really think its inner for me, but I do talk about Star Wars and my fandoms. So not making fun of it or just not calling when you know I'm watching Supernatural. That is totally awesome of you. It doesn't hurt if you do it with me too.

9: Sense of humor. Oh I take all what people would consider bad things very lightly. I really don't consider them bad because they made me who I am today. Plus if we get depressed over them life kind of slows down and you feel like you're not going anywhere.

EIGHT things I want to do before I die

1: Publish a book

2: Own a house.

3: Fall in love and get married.

4: Direct a movie.

5: Own my own magazine company.

6: Stay healthy and not have cancer.

SEVEN things I hate the most

1: People pronouncing my name wrong. Seriously its short and not that complicated. I also really love my name so I hate it when people screw it up.

2: Laziness when things are pretty obvious.

3: The word BOYFRIEND. Seriously, I would love to have one, but I don't want them to be called that.

4: People who pop your personal bubble when you don't even like or know them. Seriously I have my friends thank you. I don't want you to invade my space just like I'm sure you don't want me to invade yours.

5: People who throw hissy fits or act like total pompous asses in public. Seriously if you're pissed at someone or your bf/gf wait till you get home.

6: Hotlinkers. Seriously what's the deal? Its not hard to right-click; save as... There are so many free image hosting sites too. Come on.

7: Not being able to say how I really feel. I get tongue tied a bit and worry if I'd look like an idiot.

SIX things I believe in

1: That the truth about forever is that its always changing.

2: God. Not in the Christianity sense but there has to be some higher power. And I really do believe each religion is all the same.

3: The supernatural. With my experiences... there's no way there isn't.

4: Love. I believe you can love all types of ways. Its not just stuck to one way.

5: Soul mates. I believe that there is someone out there to complete you. Not necessarily to fall in love with and get married to. Someone who understands you as you and gives you that feeling of completeness. They may be hard to find or you'll never find them at all, but they're out there somewhere.

6: Magic. Its kind of like "science only goes so far then comes God" saying. God has that magic like quality to him and things just do happen in that sense.

FIVE things I'm afraid of

1: The dark. Seriously I have to have some sort of little light on.

2: Being forgotten. It terrifies me that I won't do anything that won't be memorable.

3: Losing Brandon. My son is my everything and if anything were to happen to him, I couldn't survive.

4: Not knowing where an exit is in a room. I kind of hyperventatilate if I can't see it either.

5: Dying alone. It comes down wanting to get married and not being forgotten.

FOUR favorite items in my room (that permanently stay there)

1: A paper journal.

2: Books

3: Clock even though I use my cellphone most of the time, I still need to have a regular clock.

4: Magazines not always the same one but there's always a stack.

THREE things I do everyday

1: Eat Cheerios

2: Apply mascara and brush my teeth.

3: Check Facebook, Livejournal, and MySpace.

1: Hang out with my friends from high school.

1: Brandon. I miss my little one.

It has been over a year since I updated this thing. Wow.

So I will inform you all that I am a single parent now. Its rather fun being on my own and having my own place.

I work at a bank and my job is pretty damn secure now.

Brandon (my boy) is my life.

I'm looking for amazing and its really hard to find.

I'm hopefully going back to school in the fall. I want something editorial so I'll probably be posting more pages like that.

wow its been over a year since I updated.

I have a baby boy. I'm damn proud of him and he is the cutest thing ever.

My new computer is named Obi-Wan.

Harry Potter is still my love, but Supernatural is starting to take the cake.
